What a last few days

Well we had a family wedding last Saturday, we've been looking forward to it for nearly a year and finally the time came. The idea was that my daughter and her family and my DH's son and family would all stay Friday & Saturday nights so we could let the cousins spend time together. We paid tas money is tight on all levels for the kids.
That failed orginally (I say orginally as see below!) at the first post as DH's son only wanted to stay the Friday (No thought to the fact that the wedding was at 1.00pm and they had to be out of room by 11.00am and all that that entails with a 16 month & a 12yr old!!!)
Anyway we did have great weather on the friday and I did get to spend time with Ethan who was a little cherub as usual. We didn't get to see too much of my DH's son & family they had been to the seaside to give the kids a run and then decided that mum would stay in the family room with youngest and dad would bring eldest to eat with the rest of us. We had a good time but did not see the others.
Breakfast time came and I was just about to settle in to choose a yummy cooked breakfast, when stepson arrives with the 2 kids and asks if we can look after them as his wife is feeling poorly and needs to go to hospital urgently. So everything went to pot, I haven't seen the children for nearly 12 months, their grandad (my hubby) is involved in video links and transport for his youngest niece's wedding and so has to disappear and so it's all on me. Suffice to say eldest then starts feeling poorly, there is an ambulance waiting to take his mum to hospital, youngest does have a nap (thank goodness) and I know nothing of the youngest's routines, mum & dad have gone and eldest is violently sick ............ HELP!!
Everyone having hair & makeup done and getting changed, me stuck in the family room with unhelpful phone calls and thankfully a SiL who does as much as she can in between apps and getting changed.
By 12.15pm I still have not showered, changed or anything. We have to be in seats by 12.50pm and it's pouring with rain, I haven't seen my DH since 9.10am and I'm really stressed.
In the end we go down to our room, I lock myself in the bathroom, sit eldest with bin for emergencies and hastily throw on wedding outfit, no makeup, no teeth cleaning, no shower, no perfume, no time to fuss with hair and fascinator, just about manage jewellery.
I get to where ceremony is - soaked to skin, fascinator dripping with about 5 mins to spare, thankfully SiL takes eldest who is looking very seedy by now.
Great ceremony apart from fact I can't see it as I am at the back of the room, and hubby is videoing at the front, rush to reception room with youngest in buggy and hastily grab large Pimms and request large glass of white wine off ANYBODY who will listen!!!
By 2.45pm I am so stressed, but DH has joined me and we are waiting for his son to arrive back at hotel with the news that a Dr has seen his eldest and now he needs to be taken to A&E.
Suffice to say, they end up staying an extra night, there are only 4 of us on the table instead of 9 and I'm so stressed I don't enjoy much, we went to bed at 9.30pm and woke up the next morning to find out step son now had the "bug" and was very unwell. I damaged my already bad knee further and was having to limp everywhere, we arrived home battered and bruised and collapsed in a heap. Stepson and family declined offer to stage their journey at our house, we haven't hear how they are despite leaving messages.
To top it all, I woke up yesterday feeling very sick and spent most of the day in bed or in the bathroom, lets hope today is better.
