No time to do a LO's yet, as teaching all day and also tomorrow, I'm now doing 2 days a week to cover for a maternity absence, just started a bit earlier than expected. I know what photo I want to do, but I will have to wait until the time comes to get it! I won't get chance to write a letter, will send an email instead (I know that's cheating - but what the heck!)
Today's prompt - Christmas Cards
Do you buy them or make them? Usually buy them, this year for the first time I made them.
•What day of the month do you try to send them? I get the USA & Hong Kong ones off in November and then the rest off during first week in December
•When do you actually send them? As I planned I'm a very organised person (see above!!!)
•Is it just a quick address-and sign job, or do you relish the opportunity to write notes to long lost friends who only exist on your Christmas card list these days? Definitely a quick sign job, I email and phone people for chats and catch ups
•If you receive a card from someone you didn’t expect, do you quickly send a card back? Depends who it is from and how late I get it!
•What’s your system for keeping names and addresses ready for the job? NO system, I store all my information on the computer
•What is the price of a postage stamp this Christmas? 36p unless it is a large/thick card then it’s 52p
•How many cards will you send? Depends on how organised I am probably between 40-60 I expect
•How do you display cards you receive? On garland strings in the lounge
