After 26 hours of travelling, with minimum food and an upset tummy, it's nearly 4pm by my body clock and I needed food, any food, so here I am sat in Amici, in the Holiday Inn, Eugene having breakfast, being waited on by Berny a most attentive & great server and waiting for the amazing Nancy to pick me up!

USA Trip!

By the time you read this, my luggage (all that you see here!) and I will have started our long journey to Oregon, USA. I fly from London Heathrow to Eugene in Oregon, a 17hr trip airport to airport, without the travelling either end, so all in all probably 24hours in reality. I have taken loads of presents, 2 class kits & a little something for everyone attending the Girls' Art Party Weekend, a number of packages & envelopes to post whilst I'm in the USA, my art stuff and a few clothes. I hope I have set everything up to be able post from my iPad/iPhone whilst  I am there and I have scheduled a few posts as well. I'll be home 21st June!

I've set a challenge for the Art Party Weekend (last weekend of my 3 week visit to USA!), make a name badge, out of anything and I'm offering a prize for the one I like the most, I've finished mine, it will make it so much easier to get names right with 16 of us!

My healthy calorie counted Poached Salmon lunch - 300 calories of lush, meant that I didn't eat junk food in Sainsbury's Cafe and it was cheaper!

Today Was A NO GO Day

Sadly today was wiped out by a migraine that arrived from nowhere (1st one in 4 years) and laid me low for 8 hours solid, thankfully it responded to drugs and lying in a dark room with eye shades on, sadly it meant that NOTHING was done at all from a productive pint of view, here's hoping tomorrow is better x
