Summer Of Colour - Week 5 Brown
My brown entry has a splash of turquoise for my bold colour, the fleur de lis in the middle is stamped into melted embossing powder, then adhered to the paper with glossy accents.

Update
I've been away (as per my last post), came home a little earlier than I wanted to due to a visit from my parents, but I will get back on track ASAP! I had a great time playing crafty at Bernice's + we did the ABC Book of Me, so I've done quite a bit of art journaling - when I get chance I will post the pages for you to look at, meanwhile I'll leave you with a shot of the cute dog (anonymous) that was the resident doggy at the workshop venue.

Off On A Trip - ABC Book of Me with Anneliese Bates
I'm off up to the midlands early tomorrow morning to stay with a friend - we're having an "ART" day and then on Thursday we're doing a class with Anneliese Bates from Creative Journey Workshops called "ABC Book of Me". It will be my first class with Anneliese, but my friend has probably done every class Anneliese has ever run. I'm really looking forward to a couple of days away, will also get a chance to see my parents who live 30 mins from where I'm staying.
50th Birthday Invite
A cute card arrived today for my friend's 50th birthday party, she did a really neat invite - a cut out 50 with photos of her life showing through, and I'm on one of the photos - yeh! B&B booked as it's 120 miles from home and I want a drink (or 2), I'm going on my own as DH is on a european motorbike trip in Belgium.

16 lush colours all for a steel on eBay, free p&p and it cost them £8 to post them, I hade the last of their stock - I'm a LUCKY girl, such beautiful colours, only 8 left to get now LOL!

Today's Fishy Adventures
I was so tickled by the fishes I decided to treat my best mate Maggie to a session, her screams of laughter were so funny, the first pic I took she was a blur, she did settle down and she loved it in the end though!
