Sunset

A good day today, lovely weather and a gorgeous deep, dark sunset with ominous clouds, had a very productive day making fabric art journals and business card holders to sell on Etsy

Fabric Flower Experiments

Very plain, very simple pages using Happy Mail cards, I've been so busy with designing & making Fabric Art Journals, that Book of Days has taken second place (or maybe even lower than that!) as I'm also doing Arty Alphabets & Words of Me Project alongside Life Book.

NEW Small Fabric Art Journal

The latest Fabric Art journal, made from a recycled denim skirt contains 24 pages of 5½"x4" Canson XL Mixed Media Paper and measures approx 6"x5½", little belt loop as a feature, elastic loop closure with button, Made With Love metal charm and bound with cream ribbon, cost £7.50 + P&P. Journal is refillable, so environmentally friendly too!

Today!

Today I went into town, walked along the sea front and watched the wind whip the high tide water into spray on the promenade, very bracing.

The water was very muddy from all the churning of the sea, it alternated between sun & showers, I posted 4 parcels, visited 7 charity shops and bought 5 denim skirts/prs trousers to make more embellished fabric art journals, I'll be busy cutting them up this afternoon.

Artful Alphabets - Week 1, Alpha One

I enjoyed practicing basic, shrimp & high brow - when you practice with the lines you can see the differences quiteclearly. Some letters never change though, like upper case C, I, J, N, O, Q, T, U, V & X.
