I found a great artist to follow via
Jeanette House (via the
Wild Precious Studio), called
Manon Visser who draws the most amazing girls (she sells her art
here). I have no idea where the POPJES comes from but I have watched one amazing video and she's scheduled another class for tonight at 9pm (UK time). I have had a go at doing a couple of girls, just used basic A4 printer paper, nothing special, gelatos on one girl and Big Brush pens on the other. This has inspired me to try other styles on proper paper or canvas, so watch this space!

You tried them already!! I'm so impressed - and so pleased you enjoyed them :) Manon is Dutch I think, she we must ask about the name tonight! I'll see you at the class - oh and you should have a look at Darcy Wilkinson's Popjes too - she is addicted to doing them, lol. Check them out on her blog: http://art-and-sole.blogspot.com/ JHxx
